Jayanthi Book Stores

Jayanthi Book Stores is located at number 565 in BTM Layout 2nd Stage. We are quite close to Udupi Garden, which is a major landmark that everyone around here knows. Being in BTM means there are always a lot of people moving around, especially with all the offices and houses nearby. Our shop is a straightforward place where we keep a variety of books and papers. It’s not a huge space, so we have to be careful about where we put everything. Sometimes it feels like the books are taking over the whole room. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate values. We just want to run a decent shop and help the people who live in the area. It’s a bit of a struggle sometimes with the rent going up and the competition from big online stores, but we keep at it. We’ve made a lot of friends in the neighborhood over the years. We don't spend money on advertising; we just hope people see our sign when they're walking to the garden. The shop is a bit old-fashioned, but that’s how we like it. We handle everything from the cleaning to the accounts ourselves. It’s a lot of work, but it’s what we do. If you happen to be near Udupi Garden, you’ll probably see our storefront. We’re just a small part of BTM Layout, trying to keep the shelves full and the doors open.
