Gupta Book Store

Gupta Book Store is located near the Golden Bar, right by Arabic College. It’s a simple setup we have here at number 248. We spend most of our mornings just unboxing stuff and trying to find space on the shelves. It’s not a huge place, but we try to keep a good variety of things for the students and locals who live nearby. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the front for a bit, which is a bit of a pain. We’ve got piles of paper and books everywhere, honestly. It’s a bit messy but we know where most things are if you ask. The building is older, so it stays relatively cool inside even when it's hot out. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. Just rows and rows of books. Some are new, some look like they've been sitting there for years. We get a lot of people coming in after they finish up at the college. It gets a bit cramped in the afternoons. We just keep the shop open and hope people find what they need. It’s a quiet enough life running a bookstore. We don't really do much advertising; people just know we're here next to the bar. If you need something specific, we can usually look through the back room. It’s a lot of manual work, carrying boxes and such. We’re just here every day, opening up and closing down. It’s a job like any other and we like the routine. It keeps the lights on.
