We are located up on the third floor of the Sir Puttanna Chetty Complex. Most people know the spot in Basavanagudi. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular office space where we keep all the books. Finding us might take a minute if you aren't looking at the signs, but we are here. We deal with all kinds of titles and try to keep things organized, though sometimes the stacks get a bit tall. If you are near Tal Junnar or coming from the Pune side, it's a bit of a trek but the locals in Basavanagudi find us easily enough. We started this because we like being around paper and ink. It gets quiet up here on the third floor which is nice for working. The building itself is quite busy, but once you get inside our unit, it's mostly just quiet shelves. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. People usually hear about us from a friend or they've been coming here for years. We handle the day-to-day stuff ourselves. If you need something specific, you can just ask when you walk in. We might have to dig around a bit to find it. It's just a simple book business. Nothing more than that. We spend most of our time sorting through new arrivals and keeping the dust off the older stock. Sometimes the lift works, sometimes you take the stairs. That’s just how it is here.
