Creative World Books

Creative World Books is situated at 233/A, 5th Cross, 19th Main in Jayanagar 9th Block. It’s actually in the 2nd Block area of Jayanagar, which can be a little confusing for people who aren't from around here. We’ve set up shop in a quiet residential corner where there are plenty of trees and not too much traffic. Our space is filled with all kinds of books, and we’ve tried our best to organize them, though they still end up in piles sometimes. It’s just how a real bookstore should be, we think. We don't have a big corporate office or anyone telling us how to run things. It’s just us keeping the place going day by day. We like the slow pace of this neighborhood. Sometimes we spend the whole afternoon just rearranging the shelves or talking to a neighbor who stopped in to say hello. The shop isn't modern or flashy. It’s got an old-fashioned feel with wooden shelves and a bit of a creaky door. We don't do any big promotions or try to sound like a major retailer. We're just local people who like books and wanted to have a place for them in Jayanagar. If the lights go out or a shelf breaks, we fix it ourselves. It’s a small, honest business that we’re proud to keep running. Most of our visitors are people who live just a few streets away and know us by name.
