Sri Manjunatha Book Store

Our shop, Sri Manjunatha Book Store, is located right opposite the Sri Gangama Temple in Chikka Banavara. It’s a very local spot, and we get a lot of people coming in after they visit the temple. The area is usually quite busy with devotees and traffic, which keeps things interesting for us. We’ve been here for a good while, and the shop has become a familiar sight on this road. It’s a basic place, nothing fancy at all. We just have our counters and shelves filled with books and stationery. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a big team behind us. It’s just a few of us making sure everything is in order. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty because of the road works outside, but we try to keep it as clean as we can. We like being near the temple because there’s always something going on. We don’t follow any corporate rules; we just open the shop and do our work. If someone needs a book we don’t have, we try to get it for them next time. It’s a simple way of doing business without any complications. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but the temple and our shop stay pretty much the same. Chikka Banavara is our home, and we’re happy to be part of the daily life here. We don't need any big signs or fancy lights to let people know we're here.
