Vasantha Book House

Vasantha Book House is right on Avenue Road, located at number 35. We are directly opposite the Kamath Hotel, which is a very well-known spot for anyone who visits this area. Avenue Road is always packed with people and vehicles, and our shop is right in the middle of all that energy. We have been selling books here for a long time. The shop is narrow and deep, with shelves stretching back quite a way. It can get very hot in the afternoons, but we have a couple of old fans that keep the air moving. We don't spend money on fancy marketing or polished advertisements. Our business comes from people walking by or those who have been coming to us for decades. We have stacks of books piled on the floor because there’s never enough shelf space. Dealing with the crowds on Avenue Road every day can be tiring, but it’s also what keeps the shop alive. We know the other shopkeepers around here, and we all deal with the same noise and dust. If you need a book, you just come in and ask. If we don't have it on the shelf, we might have it in the back or we can tell you who else might have it. It’s a very traditional way of doing things, and we don't plan on changing it. We just keep the doors open and the books stacked.
