Srirama Book Depot

We have been running Srirama Book Depot here on 5th Main in Moodalpalya for quite some time now. It’s a busy little spot in Vijaya Nagar and we try to keep up with what the neighborhood needs. Mostly it is school books and some general stuff that people ask for. The shelves are pretty full and sometimes it gets a bit crowded inside when the school season starts. We don’t have any fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just rows of books and some stationery stacked up where we can find them. Usually, one of us is behind the counter from morning until late evening. People from around the area stop by on their way home. We know a lot of the faces by now since they’ve been coming here for years. The shop address is 5/A, right there on the main road, so it’s hard to miss if you are walking by. Sometimes the dust gets on the covers and we have to wipe them down every morning. It’s a simple life running a bookshop. We don't really do much advertising because the shop has just always been there. If someone needs a specific notebook or a pen that actually writes, they know where to find us. We just keep things moving, ordering more stock when things run low and chatting with the regulars about the weather or the traffic in Vijaya Nagar. It’s a small place but it keeps us busy.
