Sri Siddeshwara Book Centre is situated at 618 Avenue Road. Even though our address mentions Peenya Industrial Area, we are very much a part of the Avenue Road business community. It’s a busy place with a lot of movement and noise. Our shop is quite simple and modest. We don't have any flashy lights, signs, or modern displays. We have been serving the local community here for a long time. Most of our day is spent organizing various books and talking to the people who stop by to browse. We handle a variety of titles and different subjects. It gets quite dusty, especially with the windows kept open to the street. We don't have a big corporate office or a management team. It's just us in this space doing the work. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit overwhelming and fills up the floor, but we manage it. We aren't interested in being the most modern or high-tech shop. We like the traditional way of doing things. We know our regular customers by name quite often. It's a practical business for us. We don't use much technology, mostly just a pen and a notebook for our records. The neighborhood is loud and full of energy. We feel lucky to have a spot here after all these years.
