Sri Manjuanthan Book Stall

Sri Manjuanthan Book Stall is located at 587 on the 7th Main Road, right near Patel Channapa Avenue Road. It is a small place, more of a stall than a big shop, but we pack a lot into the space we have. The location is quite central, so there is a lot of foot traffic throughout the day. You will see people rushing to work or students heading to their classes passing by our front door constantly. We mainly focus on books that people need for their daily studies or work. The shelves are packed tight, and sometimes things spill over onto the small table we keep near the front. It is not very fancy here, just some metal racks and a few wooden benches. I have been working here for a long time, and I know the sound of every motorcycle that passes by on 7th Main. Sometimes the rain blows in a little bit if we don't pull the plastic sheets down fast enough. We like being part of this street. It feels good when someone finds a book they have been searching for in our piles. We don't have a big sign, just the name painted above the door. Most of our customers are regulars who live or work within a few blocks. We keep things simple and just try to be here every day from early morning until the late evening when things finally quiet down.
