Sri Lakshmi Book Stall

Sri Lakshmi Book Stall is a small place at 827, Babusabpalya. We are right near the Flower Garden in Grace Colony, specifically on 5th A Cross in Kalyan Nagar. It is a nice little corner of the neighborhood. The stall is mostly filled with magazines, daily newspapers, and various books that people like to read while they are commuting or just sitting at home. We don’t have much room to move around inside because every bit of wall space is covered in print. Sometimes we have to stack the newer arrivals on the floor near the entrance. The area around Grace Colony is quite pleasant, especially with the garden nearby, so we get a bit of a breeze through the front. We’ve been running this stall for years and know most of the people who stop by every morning to pick up their paper. It’s a simple routine of opening the bundles early in the morning and setting everything out so people can see what we have. The stall isn't very modern, and the paint is peeling in a few spots, but it doesn't bother us much. We just like being part of the Kalyan Nagar community. People usually stop to chat for a minute before heading off to work. It’s just how things go here at the stall every day of the week.
