Sri Durga Book Stall

It is just us here at Sri Durga Book Stall. We are right at 41 Opp Russel Market 32nd E Cross. Most people find us because of the big market across the way. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic and people shouting for rickshaws, especially in the afternoons. Our shop is in Tilaknagar, over in Jayanagar 4th Block Commercial Street. It is a busy part of the city. We have stacks of books everywhere you look. Some are new and some have been sitting there for a bit too long. We spend a lot of time just moving piles around so people can walk through the narrow aisles. Sometimes the dust gets a bit much but we try to wipe the covers when we can. We open early in the morning. Usually, the first thing we do is sweep the front step. The tea stall nearby is where we get our morning chai. It is a simple place. We do not have fancy lights or anything. Just the usual shelves and a counter where we sit. It is mostly just us and the books. People come in looking for specific things, and we do our best to find them in the stacks. Sometimes they just want to browse, and that is fine too. We have seen the neighborhood change over the years. Buildings go up and others come down. But we stay right here on the 32nd E Cross. It is just a regular book stall doing what we do every day.
