Shreevari Book House

We’ve been running Shreevari Book House for a while now, right here near the Doddakallasandra Bus Stop. It's a busy spot with the KSIT and YDIT colleges just across the road, so we see a lot of students coming in and out every day. The shop is located in the Krishnappa Building. It’s not a huge place, but we try to keep the shelves stocked with what people actually need. Sometimes things get a bit messy when a big shipment comes in, but that’s just how it goes in a bookshop. We mostly deal with textbooks and stationery because of the colleges being so close. People usually just drop in on their way to catch a bus or after their classes are over for the day. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. Just plenty of books and basic supplies. Sometimes the traffic on the Ahmedabad Kanakapura Road makes it quite noisy, but we’re used to it. We know most of the regulars by name now. It’s nice being part of this neighborhood. We open early enough for the morning rush and stay until things quiet down in the evening. If you’re looking for something specific, we usually have to dig through a few stacks to find it. It’s just us working here, trying to keep things moving. We don't do much online stuff, just the physical shop where you can walk in and browse.
