Sharadha Book Center

We are located in the Krishna Building on Avenue Road. Our spot is number 29 in the Lokmanya Nagar section. Avenue Road is such a central place for books in this city, and it's always busy. Sharadha Book Center fits right into the mix of shops here. The building is an older one, but it has a lot of character and history. We spend our days surrounded by tall shelves and piles of paper. It’s a bit disorganized at times, but that's just how we like to work. We aren't some big corporate bookstore with coffee shops or fancy seating. We just sell books to whoever needs them. People come in from all over the city because they know this area is the best place to look. We've been here for quite a while now. The street outside is always full of people, carts, and vehicles. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, but you can still hear the city moving. We know many of the other shop owners around here. It feels like a small community even though the city is so big and fast. We don't have a mission statement or any of those things. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and see who comes in. Sometimes we have what people want, and sometimes we have to order it for them. It’s just a regular way to spend the day. We hope to stay here for many more years to come.
