Renuka Book Stall

Renuka Book Stall is located at 58 J R Mansion on Avenue Road. We are right beside Brindavan Enterprises. Avenue Road is a very busy place to be, so there is always a lot going on right outside our door. The stall is filled with all sorts of books and papers. We don’t have a lot of extra space, so we have to be smart about how we stack things. Sometimes the piles get quite high. We spend the day dealing with customers and sorting through new arrivals. It is a lot of work to keep track of everything. The building, J R Mansion, is an older one and it has its own character. We are used to the sounds of the traffic and the people shouting on the street. It’s a busy environment. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. People find us because they are already walking down Avenue Road looking for something. We try to keep the most popular items where people can see them easily. Sometimes we have to move a lot of stuff around just to get to one book at the back. It’s just part of the job. We stay open pretty late to catch the people finishing work. It’s a simple way to make a living and we’ve been doing it this way for years.
