Pawan Book Centre

You can find us over in RT Nagar, specifically in Judges Colony. We are at number 386/2, which is very close to the Nilgiris Super Market. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows where the supermarket is. Our shop has been here for a while, and we’ve become a bit of a staple for the people living in the colony. We carry a mix of things, from novels to school supplies. The space isn't huge, so we have to be smart about how we stack the boxes. Sometimes the delivery guys leave stuff on the sidewalk if we are too busy to move it inside right away. It’s a friendly enough place. We know a lot of our customers by name because they’ve been coming here since they were kids. Now they bring their own children in for pens and notebooks. The street is lined with trees, so it’s actually a nice walk to get here. We don't do anything fancy with the window displays; we just put out whatever new stuff came in that week. If you’re looking for a specific textbook, it might be under a pile, but we’ll find it eventually. We don't use a lot of technology here, just a simple ledger and a calculator. It’s a steady life, just keeping the shop going and talking to the neighbors. It's called Pawan Book Centre on the board outside, right there on the corner.
