Padam Book House

Padam Book House is at 712/A Yogi Nagar, which is on Eksar Road in the Rajajinagar area. We have been in this part of town for a good while. The shop is full of all sorts of books, and they are piled up in every available corner. It is a bit of a squeeze to get through the aisles sometimes, but that is just part of the charm of an old-fashioned book house. We spend a lot of time dusting off the covers and rearranging the stacks. Rajajinagar is a busy place, and Eksar Road stays pretty active with people going about their business. We see a lot of the same faces coming in every week, which is something we enjoy. We don't have a computer system to tell us where everything is, so we rely on our memory. Usually, we can find what someone is looking for if they give us a minute to think. The building in Yogi Nagar is familiar to most people around here. We open the shutters early in the morning and stay late. It is a simple life, surrounded by books and the local neighborhood folks. We don't have any big goals other than keeping the doors open and the shelves stocked. It is a bit dusty and a bit crowded, but it is our place and we have been here at 712/A for a long time.
