Noor Book Depot

You can find Noor Book Depot at 24/25, near the Bilal Masjid main gate. We’re tucked into the 3rd A Cross of the Doddanna Industrial Estate, 1st Main Road, 2nd Stage, over in Pillana Garden. Being in an industrial area means it’s not the most scenic spot, but it’s where we are. We mostly deal with the people who live and work around here. The shop is a bit small, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they’ve been that shade of green for twenty years now. We keep a lot of school books, some stationery, and things the workers might need, like notebooks for keeping records. The mosque nearby means it gets really busy during prayer times, so we usually see a rush of people then. The dust from the industrial estate is a constant battle, and I feel like I’m always wiping down the counter. We have a small stool for customers to sit on, but it’s a bit wobbly, so most people just stand. It’s just me and my nephew running things most days. We don't have a big fancy setup, just a simple place where you can get what you need without a fuss. We've known the neighbors for years, and it feels like a little community even with all the factories around us. It’s just a regular life here, and we're happy to be a part of the local neighborhood.
