Nanda Book Centre

Nanda Book Centre is located at No.608 in Svg Plaza. We are right behind Tayi Jewellers on the 4th Cross of Police Station Road in Basavanagar. It’s a busy little area, especially with the police station right there. People are always coming and going. Our shop is filled with all kinds of books and stationery, and it can get a bit cluttered during the school season. We don’t have a big fancy storefront with neon lights. It’s just a regular shop where we try to keep everything organized on the shelves. Sometimes we lose track of where a specific book is, but we usually find it after a bit of searching. The plaza isn't the newest building in Basavanagar, but it serves us well. We’ve known the owners of the jewelry shop next door for years. It’s a friendly spot where we recognize a lot of the faces that walk in. We aren't trying to compete with the big online stores; we just provide what the local people need. Most of our day is spent helping people find what they’re looking for or unpacking new stock. It’s honest work and we like being part of the community here on Police Station Road. The street can get pretty jammed with scooters, but that’s just life in this part of town. We’re just a small local book centre doing our thing every day and trying to stay ahead of the dust.
