Million Book Centre

Our shop is located in the 100 Shopping Complex on Nagdevi Cross Lane, right near MG Road in Jayanagar. It is a bit of a maze in this complex sometimes, but once you find us, you will see we have plenty of books to look through. We have been operating out of this unit for several years now. The space is a bit narrow, so we have to be careful how we stack the latest shipments. We spend most of our mornings unpacking and checking off lists. It is a lot of manual work, and our hands are usually a bit ink-stained by the end of the shift. Being near MG Road means there is a lot of foot traffic, and we get people from all over the city popping in. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights at Million Book Centre. We just have books and a few chairs for when we need a break. Sometimes the air conditioning in the complex is a bit temperamental, so we keep a small fan behind the counter. We don't follow a strict corporate manual. We just talk to people like neighbors and help them find whatever they are looking for. It is a busy life in a busy part of town, but we enjoy the rhythm of the day and the people we meet.
