Millat Book Depot

You can find us at Millat Book Depot near Masjid E Ateeq. We are on the 4th Cross in Wilson Garden, right there on Rkappanahalli Tank Garden Road. It’s a busy spot especially during prayer times. The shop is small and the shelves are packed tight. We mostly have religious books and things for the local school kids. The street outside is narrow so it gets crowded with scooters and people walking. Inside it’s a bit quieter. We have a counter right at the front where we sit. It’s usually covered in loose papers and pens. We know most of the neighbors by name. They stop by to chat even if they don’t need a book that day. The walls are painted a plain color and we have some old posters up. We don’t have much space for people to walk around, so usually, people just ask us for what they need and we pull it from the shelf. Sometimes we have to dig through the back room to find older titles that haven't been touched in years. It gets a bit dark in the back when the power goes out, which happens sometimes around here. We just use a torch and keep going. It’s just a normal neighborhood shop. Nothing special to look at but we have what people need. We like being part of the life on this street and seeing everyone go by.
