Metro Book Paradise

Metro Book Paradise is located in Jayanagar 4th Block. We are at 75 8E Main, inside the NIIT Towers. It’s a bit of a modern building compared to some other bookshops. We have a good amount of space and the windows are large, so we get a lot of light during the day. Jayanagar is a nice area with lots of people walking around. We get a lot of students from the nearby coaching centers and offices. The shelves are mostly white and we try to keep them tidy, but it’s hard when you have hundreds of books coming in and out. We have some chairs for people to sit if they are waiting for someone. The floor is tiled and easy to clean, which is a change from our old place. We have a computer to help look things up but we still prefer looking through the shelves ourselves. It’s usually busy in the evenings after college hours. We can see the metro line from nearby, hence the name I guess. It’s a comfortable place to work. We have a small corner for stationery and pens too. People usually come in for one specific book and end up looking at five others. It’s just how it goes here. We try to keep the atmosphere calm so people can browse without being rushed by the staff.
