Md Arif Book Collection Point is situated in the 4th Block at S V Lane, within the S M M S Market in Jayanagar. It is a very busy spot, especially on the weekends. The market is always buzzing with people looking for all kinds of things. Our shop is focused specifically on books. We have piles of them everywhere—on the shelves, on the floor, and even near the doorway. It can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it. We mostly collect books from different sources and have them ready for people who are looking for something specific. Jayanagar is a great area for this kind of work because there are so many students and readers around. The shop isn't very modern. We have old wooden racks and a simple desk where we handle the transactions. There is a lot of dust that comes in from the market lane, so we have to wipe down the books quite often. We don't have a big team; it is mostly just me and a cousin who helps out. We know the regulars who come in every month to see what new things we have picked up. It is not a corporate bookstore with a cafe; it is just a place for people who really care about finding books. We keep simple hours and try to stay organized amidst all the paper. That is just how it is here every day.
