Mandhara Melodies

Mandhara Melodies is over in Malleswaram West on B P C Road. We are at number 154. This part of town has a certain old feel to it, and we think our shop fits right in with the neighborhood. We deal with music, mostly. We have CDs and sometimes other things related to music that people still look for. It is a small shop, but it is often filled with sound. We usually have something playing in the background while we work behind the counter. It might be old songs or something more traditional that we like. People around here still like their music in a physical format. We’ve had this place for a while. The shelves are packed and sometimes it is hard to see the labels in the back. We spend our time cleaning the cases and making sure everything is more or less in its place. It isn't a big modern music store with glass walls. It feels more like a hobby that turned into a job for us. We talk to the neighbors a lot when they walk by. They come in and ask about old recordings they remember from years ago. Sometimes we can find them in our stacks, sometimes we can't. The front door squeaks a bit when you open it, but we haven't bothered to fix it yet. It’s just part of the shop's character. Malleswaram is a good place for a shop like this because people here still appreciate music.
