Mahaveer Book House

Our shop is on the first floor of Samanth Complex, right up the stairs. If you get lost, just look for Hotel Gokul Veg because we are right next to it on 19th Main. Being in Rajajinagar means we see a lot of students and office folks passing through. The stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step when you're carrying a heavy bag. Inside, it's mostly stacks of paper and books everywhere you look. It isn't the most organized place, to be honest. I usually know where everything is, but sometimes a specific book hides under a pile of others. We’ve been here at 401/32 for a long time. The fan in the corner makes a clicking sound that I’ve stopped noticing, though it bothers some people. We spend a lot of time talking to the regular customers about what’s new or why a certain shipment is late. It’s a quiet life mostly. We open up around ten in the morning and stay until the tea shop downstairs closes. Sometimes we share a meal with the guys from the other units in the complex. It’s just a small business trying to keep things running. We don’t do much advertising. People mostly find us because they were eating at the hotel and saw our sign. It's a simple setup but it suits us just fine. We have some old chairs if you need to sit down for a minute.
