Lavanya Pustaka Loka

Lavanya Pustaka Loka is situated at H-16 in Khanda Colony, which is part of Gayathri Nagar. The shop is on the ground floor of a residential building, so it feels more like a house than a store. We have been selling books here for some time now. The neighborhood is mostly families, so we get a lot of kids coming in for school supplies and notebooks. We use an old ledger to write down what we sell instead of a computer. It works fine for us and we haven't seen a reason to change it. The address is easy to find once you are in Khanda Colony, though the street numbers can be a bit confusing for strangers. We spend our days tidying up the shelves and chatting with the people who live in the apartments above us. It is a steady, slow kind of business that fits the pace of Gayathri Nagar perfectly. We just keep things simple and make sure the kids have the pens they need.
