Lakshmi Book Stores

Lakshmi Book Stores is at U 74 near K P Agrahara in the Rajeshwari Estate, just off Magadi Road. It’s a busy area with a lot of small industries and workshops nearby, so there’s always a bit of noise from the machinery and trucks. Our shop is a quiet little escape from all that. We have a lot of stationery and books for the local schools and the people working in the estate. The shelves are made of simple plywood and they’re packed with notebooks, pens, and all sorts of office supplies. We don't have any fancy glass displays or bright neon signs. The front of the shop is mostly taken up by a big wooden desk where we sit and wait for customers. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with the traffic from Magadi Road, so we spend a lot of time with a duster in hand. We’ve been here for quite a while, and we’ve gotten to know most of the people who work in the nearby units. They often drop in for a pen or a notebook and stay for a few minutes to talk about the weather or the local news. We don't have a computerized billing system, just a bill book and a pen. It’s a very traditional way of doing things, but it works fine for a small place like ours in the estate.
