Karnataka Book Store

Karnataka Book Store is a small place located at 43/1 Near Mysore Bank on Avenue Road. This is one of the busiest spots in the whole city. You can hear the noise of the traffic and the crowds all day long. Our shop is right in the middle of all that action. We have been here at 43/1 for many years. The space is very tight because we try to fit in as many books as possible. You have to be careful when you walk around so you don't knock over a stack. We spend most of our time climbing ladders to reach the high shelves. It is hard work, and by the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired. There are no fancy air conditioners or big displays here. It is just us and our books. Being near Mysore Bank means we get a lot of foot traffic. We see all kinds of people, from students to old book collectors. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just open the doors and wait for people to come in. It’s a simple way to run a business, but it has worked for us for a long time. Avenue Road is a tough place to work because of the heat and the crowds, but we wouldn't be anywhere else.
