We are right in the heart of Chickpet, near Sultanpet Circle. If you know Lamington Road, you know how loud and crowded it gets. Our place is at 147/2, and it is usually buzzing with activity. We deal with industrial parts and supplies, so there is a lot of heavy lifting and moving boxes around. It is a dusty environment with metal bits and tools everywhere. We have been here for years, watching the market change around us. It is a family-run kind of thing, so we do not have fancy titles or a big board of directors. We just get in early to beat the worst of the traffic and start checking orders. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the narrow streets, which can be frustrating for everyone. We have regular customers who have been coming to us for decades. They know we just tell it like it is. If we do not have something in stock, we tell them honestly. The shop is old and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but that is not really our priority. We just want to make sure the inventory is right. It gets very hot in the summer with all the machinery and the crowds outside. We just drink a lot of water and keep going. It is hard work, but it is what we know how to do. We are not trying to be the biggest, just trying to stay reliable for the folks who count on us.
