You can find us at 134, which is near the Figurine Fitnessesi Hospital and the Esi Hospital over on Brigade Road. Being on Brigade Road means it's never really quiet. There are always people walking by, mostly heading towards the hospital or the shops nearby. We keep a variety of books here. The space is a bit tight because we try to fit as many titles as we can onto the wooden shelves. Some of the shelves creak a bit when you pull a heavy book off. We spend our mornings dusting and moving things around to make room for new arrivals. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything. The hospital staff often stop by during their breaks to see what's new. We’ve got a small counter where we handle the sales and chat with the regulars. It’s not a big corporate store, just a local spot where books are piled up high. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door if the wind is blowing the right way, so we have to move the stock back. We like the energy of Brigade Road even if it gets exhausting sometimes. It's just a regular workday for us, sitting among the pages and waiting for the next person to walk through the door. We stay open until late evening when the street gets really crowded with people going out for the night.
