Golden Enterprises Old Book Centre

Golden Enterprises Old Book Centre is right on Avenue Road, located at No. c-1, 61, 61, and 63. We are right besides Eagle Stationary, which is a good landmark if you are looking for us. Avenue Road is always packed with people and shops, so it can be a bit overwhelming. Our place is full of old books, as the name says. They are piled everywhere. We have stacks on the floor, on the tables, and reaching all the way to the ceiling. It smells like old paper and history in here. We have been doing this for a long time, and we know our way around the piles, even if it looks like a mess to everyone else. We don't have fancy lights or air conditioning. We just have a few fans that hum all day. Dealing with old books means we get a lot of dust, so we are always wiping things down. It is a lot of work to keep track of everything, but we enjoy the process. People come from all over the city to dig through our stacks. We don't have a computer system to tell us where things are. We just remember. If you spend enough time here, you'll see how we work. It is a bit chaotic but it is honest. If you are walking down Avenue Road, just look for us next to the stationary shop. The ladder we use to reach the top books is old and a bit shaky.
