We are located right behind Venkat School at 4th Cross in Manjunath Nagar. Being here in Rajajinagar West means we see a lot of students and parents passing by every single day. The shop itself is not very big, but it is packed with papers and books. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the road construction nearby. My brother and I usually open up around ten in the morning. We spend a lot of time organizing things on the shelves so we can actually find what people are looking for. It is a quiet street most of the time except when school lets out. Then it gets quite loud for about an hour. We have been in this spot for several years now. People mostly know us as the place tucked away behind the school building. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. Folks just walk in because they live in the neighborhood or they are heading to the school. The tea stall next door is where we usually get our afternoon drinks. There is always a stack of new arrivals sitting near the entrance waiting to be sorted. It is just a regular workplace where we keep busy with orders and local deliveries. Nothing fancy about it. We try to keep things moving. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to get deliveries out on time but we manage. That is pretty much how things go here at F K Publication every day.
