Dharanishree Book Disributors

Our place is over in Vijaya Nagar on Ratanpole. We're at number 34. Dharanishree Book Distributors is mostly about getting books from one place to another. It’s not really a retail shop where you can sit and browse for hours. We have a lot of heavy boxes coming in and going out every single day. The space is filled with stacks of different titles waiting to be sent out to other shops. It gets pretty hectic during the start of the school terms when everyone needs their books at once. We’ve been in this spot for a few years now. Vijaya Nagar is a good area, though the traffic can be a real pain during the rush hour. We don't have a fancy lobby or a waiting area. It's more of a warehouse-style setup because that's what works best for distribution. We just try to keep track of the orders and make sure the right books go to the right people. Sometimes we lose track of a box or two in the back corners, but we eventually find them. It's a busy, unpolished kind of environment to work in. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local distributor. It's a lot of lifting and moving things around all day. The staff is small, just a few of us who know the daily routine. We don't have a big marketing budget or a social media team. We just focus on the work.
