Chaitra Book House

Chaitra Book House is located at 3 Thimmiah Chambers, which is right behind the Tribhuvan Theatre in Gandhi Nagar. It’s a bit tucked away, so it doesn't get as much of the street noise as some other places. I like the spot because it’s a bit more relaxed. We have a lot of different types of books, mostly stuff for schools and some general reading too. The shop is filled with tall shelves, and I’m always moving things around to make more room. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, with stacks of books waiting to be shelved and papers scattered on my desk. I don't really mind the clutter, and most of our customers don't seem to mind it either. They just like coming in and browsing through the titles. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit, but they usually stay on. I spend my time mostly checking the inventory or chatting with the regulars who pop in after seeing a movie nearby. It’s a simple shop and we don’t try to make it look like something it’s not. We just have books for sale and a quiet place to look at them. It’s been my life for a long time now, and I’m happy just staying here in Gandhi Nagar and running my little book house.
