Bookworm

If you are looking for Bookworm, you have to head down to the basement of Building No 32 on Brigade Road. We are located right near Prabhu Digital and just behind the Shoe Track shop. It is a bit hidden away, but once you find the stairs and come down, you will see we have quite a lot going on. Being in a basement means we do not have windows, so we rely on plenty of lamps to keep the place bright. It is a bit of a cozy spot, filled to the brim with books. We are not trying to be a fancy boutique. The shelves are mostly wooden and a bit old, and the floor might creak in some places, but that is just the character of the place. Brigade Road is so busy upstairs, but down here it is a bit more peaceful. We spend a lot of our time sorting through used books and finding homes for them. It is a lot of dusty work, but we do not mind it. We have got regulars who have been coming down those stairs for years to see what new things we have found. We do not do any fancy advertising or have a big corporate office. It is just us in the basement, surrounded by paper and stories. We just like what we do and we are happy to stay right where we are, tucked away from the main street noise. Every day brings something different, and we just keep the shop running for the book lovers.
