Bookware is tucked away at 42 Dadhi Durga Road in Benson Town. It’s a nice part of the city, a bit quieter than the main roads. We are near the Benson Town Post, so it is easy to find once you get onto Dadhi Durga Road. The shop isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. It’s mostly just me and a couple of others working here. We spend a lot of time sorting through boxes of books. Some are old, some are new, but they all need a home on the shelves. The air in here always smells a bit like old paper, which I personally like. We don't have any big signs or flashing lights outside. Just a simple door at number 42. Benson Town has a lot of history, and you can feel it when you walk down our street. Most of our customers are locals who live just a few blocks away. They stop in on their way home to see what we’ve got. Sometimes we just sit and talk for a bit about the news. It’s not the kind of place where you have to hurry. We take our time with everything. If the shop gets a bit messy, we just clean it up when we have a spare moment. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, and we plan to keep it that way for a long time. People seem to appreciate that we aren't trying to be fancy.
