Books Shelle

Our shop, Books Shelle, is located at 360 on the 10th Main B Main Road in Jayanagar 3rd Block. We are quite close to S P Hospital, so we get a lot of people passing by who are visiting folks there. Jayanagar is a busy area, and this part of the 3rd Block is no different. The shop itself is packed with books of all kinds. We try to keep things in some sort of order, but with so many titles coming in, it’s a constant battle. The shelves go all the way up to the ceiling, so we have a small ladder we use all day long. It’s mostly just us here, making sure the books are stocked and the shop is open on time. We don't have a corporate office or a marketing department. We just have a counter, some old chairs, and a lot of paper. People come in looking for something to read while they wait, or students come for their supplies. The traffic on the main road can be loud, but inside it’s usually quiet unless we are unpacking a new shipment of books. We’ve been here at this address for a good while and have seen the neighborhood change around us. It’s a simple setup. We open the shutters in the morning, sweep the floor, and wait for the first customer to walk through the door. There is always something to do, even if it is just dusting.
