Book World The Khitabh Khazana

We are right across from the Udupi Garden Restaurant in BTM Layout 2nd Stage. Book World The Khitabh Khazana is located inside the Hermani Complex. It's a well-known area, so finding our shop isn't too hard for most people. We have a lot of books crammed into our space. The name "Khitabh Khazana" basically means a treasure of books, and we try to live up to that in our own small way. It’s not a fancy place at all. We have shelves reaching all the way up to the ceiling. Sometimes you have to climb a small ladder just to find the book you need. We've been in BTM Layout for a good while now. The traffic outside can be a bit of a nightmare during the evening, but once you step inside, it's all about the books. We don't do any big promotions or advertising. Most people just wander in after they finish eating at the restaurant across the street. We really enjoy the long conversations we have with readers who visit. It's a humble shop. We don't have a corporate structure or a big management team behind us. It's just a few of us making sure everything is in order. Sometimes we get a lot of new stock and it takes us a whole week just to find places for everything. It’s a bit of a mess, but a good kind of mess. We just like being here and selling books.
