Book Fair

Our shop is tucked away at number 118, right near the ICICI Bank on 8th Cross. It’s a decent spot in Anekal Taluk, specifically in the Koramangala VI Block area. If you know the bank, you can’t really miss us. We’ve been here long enough that the regulars don’t even look at the sign anymore. Inside Book Fair, things are a bit tight because we try to keep a lot of stock on the shelves. It’s not one of those huge warehouses, just a regular corner place where we spend our hours. Sometimes the 8th Cross gets crowded with cars, making it hard to find a place to stop, but that’s just how it is around here. We usually have a radio playing low in the background while we sort through new arrivals. The floor is a bit worn down from people walking in and out all day. We don’t go in for big decorations or anything like that. It’s just shelves, a counter, and us. Often, we’re just sitting there checking the inventory or talking to someone about a specific title they’ve been trying to find. The weather affects the mood here too; when it rains, the shop feels a bit darker and we have to turn on all the extra lamps. It’s a simple life running a book spot in this part of Koramangala. We just keep the doors open and wait to see who comes by. It is what it is.
