At No.627 Raigad Chowk on Kamal Street, you will find Book Buyer Bangalore. We are tucked away in the Janat Society Road area of Jayanagar. Our main thing is dealing with books that people don't want anymore. We get all kinds of stuff coming through the door, from old school books to novels that have lost their covers. The place is usually a bit of a mess with piles of paper and cardboard boxes everywhere. We spend a lot of our time sorting through what is worth keeping and what is just scrap. It is heavy work moving those boxes around all day. Jayanagar is a nice area, but this particular street gets a lot of dust from the road. We have a scale for weighing things and a few benches where people can sit while we look at what they brought in. It is not a bookstore where you come to browse in a comfortable chair. It is more of a warehouse feel where things are constantly moving in and out. The walls are covered in old posters and notes we have scribbled to ourselves over the years. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are at Raigad Chowk and they bring their old books by when they are cleaning out their houses. We just weigh the stacks and give them a fair price for whatever paper they have.
