Bhavani Collection

Bhavani Collection is located at 825/4 Purva Nilaya in Marathahalli. It is right in the middle of all the chaos of this part of town. The shop is on the ground floor, so people are always walking past and looking in through the glass. We have racks full of different clothes and items that we get in every couple of weeks. Most of the time, I am busy unpacking heavy boxes or hanging things up so they don't get all wrinkled. The space is a bit tight, especially when we have more than a few people inside at once. Marathahalli is always dusty because of the road work nearby, so I have to wipe down the counters a couple of times every single day. We have a small mirror in the corner for people to check how things look on them. It’s a very local vibe here. I know most of the people who live in the apartments nearby. We don't have a big staff, usually just myself and a family member helping out. We drink a lot of coffee from the place around the corner to keep ourselves going. The lighting inside is a bit bright, but it helps people see the colors of the fabric properly. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour, and we just sit by the door where there is some natural light coming in. It is a very simple way to spend the day here in Marathahalli.
