Bhavan Prism Book Centre

We are located at 43 Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, right near the Taj West End on Race Course Road. It’s a nice spot because it’s a bit more peaceful than the center of the city. We are part of the Apna Ghar building area. The book center has been here for quite a while, and we carry a lot of different titles, mostly focusing on things you’d expect from the Vidya Bhavan. The rooms are spacious enough, but we still manage to fill them up with tall shelves that go nearly to the ceiling. Being on Race Course Road means we get a nice view of the trees outside. We spend the day helping visitors who are coming to the Bhavan for various reasons. It’s a quiet atmosphere, and we try to keep it that way. We don't have loud music or bright flashing signs out front. Just the books and some wooden tables where you can look at things. The building itself has a lot of history, which makes working here feel a bit different than a modern mall. We keep the books dusted as much as we can, though it’s a never-ending task with the street nearby. Most of our visitors are people who have been coming here for many years. It’s a bit of a local landmark for those who know the area well. We just keep the doors open and the shelves stocked for whoever walks in.
