Bhagya Lakshmi Book Stall

We have been here at 196 Seshadripuram for quite a long time now. The shop is small, but we try to keep a lot of different books crammed onto the shelves. Sometimes the stacks get a bit high and it is hard to find exactly what someone is looking for right away. People from around the neighborhood stop by while they are out doing their other errands. It gets pretty busy in the mornings when the sun hits the front of the stall. We spend a lot of time just dusting the covers and moving things around so people can see what is available. The street outside is usually noisy with traffic and people walking to the nearby shops. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It is just a regular place where you can find something to read. Sometimes students come in looking for specific textbooks and we have to dig through the back piles to see if we have them. The floor is a bit worn out from all the feet walking through over the years. We open up early and stay until the evening when the street lights come on. It is a simple life running a book stall in this part of town. Most of our regulars know us by name and we know what kind of things they like to read. It is just how things are at Bhagya Lakshmi Book Stall. We do not change much around here.
