Avopa Book Bank

You can find Avopa Book Bank right on the ground floor of the ACC court building. It is near K C Das, which is a landmark most folks around the Avenue Road Circle know well. We deal with a lot of books here every single day. Mostly it is students coming in and out looking for things they need for their college classes. The space isn't huge, so books are stacked pretty high in some of the corners. It can be a bit dusty sometimes because of all the paper sitting around. We spend a lot of our day just sorting through what comes in and what goes out. It is a busy area near Brigade Road, so there is always some noise from the street coming in through the door. We don't really do much with the decor or the walls. It’s just shelves and stacks. Some people come in looking for a specific old edition of a textbook and we have to go digging for it. It feels good when we actually find it under a pile for them. We’ve been at this spot for some time now. Dealing with books is just what we do to get by. It’s a bit of a maze inside. We try to keep it organized, but it’s hard with so many titles moving around constantly. We aren't trying to be a big fancy bookstore. It’s more of a place for people who really need to find a book without spending too much money.
