Alive Book Centre

We are located over at 459 near the Syndicate Bank Colony in Basaveshwara Nagar. Specifically, it is on the 36th Cross in the 5th Block. It is a pretty normal spot for a book shop. We have been here for a while now, just doing our thing and keeping the shelves as full as we can manage. The neighborhood is usually quite busy with people going to the bank or just walking around the colony. We spend most of our mornings unpacking boxes and trying to figure out where to put everything. It is not a huge place, so things can get a bit cramped when a new shipment arrives. Alive Book Centre is just what we do every day. Sometimes people come in asking for something very specific and we have to go digging through the back stacks to find it. Other times, folks just want to browse around for a bit while they are out running errands. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. It is just books and more books. We try to keep the place tidy, but with all the paper and dust, it is a bit of a constant job. If you are in the 5th Block, you probably know the building. It is a simple setup. We open up early and stay until the evening. That is about all there is to it really. Just a local book place in a busy part of town.
