Akshya Books Stores

Our shop is situated in Kanteerava Nagar, which is part of the Nandhini Layout area. We are on the 2nd Main Road, quite close to the Police Quarters. It’s a decent neighborhood, mostly families and people who have lived here a long time. The shop itself is tucked away a bit, but the locals know where to find us. We mostly stock school books and basic stationery that kids need for their projects. Usually, the afternoons are quiet until the schools let out, and then it gets a bit hectic for an hour or two. We don't have a lot of staff, just a couple of us who know the layout of the shelves. The building is a bit older, so it stays relatively cool even when it’s sunny outside. We don't really have a website or anything like that, just the physical store where you can walk in and browse. Sometimes we have old magazines or newspapers sitting near the door. It’s a simple setup. We try to keep the popular items within reach so we don't have to keep climbing the stool. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but it’s mostly a calm street compared to the main roads. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait to see who comes by. It’s been Akshya Books Stores for a long time now, and we just keep doing what we do.
