Aizazia Book Centre

Aizazia Book Centre sits right opposite the Arabic College. Being so close to the college and the post office means there is always a lot of movement outside our front door. We see many students and local people passing by every single day. The shop itself is filled with stacks of books that reach almost to the ceiling in some parts. We spend a lot of our time just organizing the shelves because things have a way of getting mixed up when people are looking through them. It is a basic setup with simple lights and old wooden counters. We do not try to be a modern bookstore with coffee or fancy chairs. Our focus is just on the books and the people who need them. Some days the shop is very quiet and you can hear the traffic from the main road quite clearly. Other days it gets quite crowded especially when the college students are on their breaks. We have been here at the Arabic College Post area for quite some time now. We know most of the people who work nearby and they often stop in to say hello. It is a good place to spend the day. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait to see who will come in. There is no big mystery to how we run things. We just keep the doors open and do our work.
