Bankura Raipur Sevabikash Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are out in Kharigeria in the Bankura district. Our company, Bankura Raipur Sevabikash Farmers Producer, is really just a way for the local farmers here to work together. It’s a rural area and most of us have been farming our whole lives. We set this up to help each other with things like getting better prices and sharing tools. The office is right here in the village, so it’s easy for everyone to walk over after they finish in the fields. It’s pretty basic, just a place to keep our records and meet up. We talk about the rain, the soil, and what we should plant next. There are a lot of us involved, and we all have a say in how things go. It’s not like a big city company where someone in an office makes all the decisions. Here, we know everyone by name. Sometimes we have meetings under the trees if the office gets too hot in the summer. We’re just trying to make sure our families are okay and the land stays good for the next year. It’s hard work, and the days are long, but we’re used to it. We don't have a website or anything like that, just our building here in Kharigeria where we do our business. It is just us regular people trying to make the farming life a little more stable.
