Techcrop Smart Agrisolutions Private Limited is based in Bankura, specifically at Basudeb Namhata’s place in Mayapur Bhara. It’s a local spot in a part of West Bengal that knows a lot about farming. Even though the name sounds a bit technical, we are really just a small group of people trying to find better ways to help the local crops grow. We aren't in a big glass building. We work from this house, surrounded by the same fields that our neighbors work in. Most of the day is spent talking to farmers or looking at how the soil is doing. We try to figure out practical things that can actually be used on a real farm. Sometimes the internet is slow or we have to wait for someone to come back from the market to finish a conversation. It’s not a fast-paced city life. We take our time to get things right. People in Mayapur know where to find us if they have questions about their plants or what to use in their fields. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us, some notebooks, and a lot of time spent thinking about agriculture. We grew up around here, so we care about how the land is treated. It’s just a regular local business trying to do some good work in Bankura while keeping things very simple.
