Zinc N Rock Restaurant

Zinc N Rock Restaurant is up on the first floor of Chakra Towers at Vanross Junction. If you’re familiar with Thiruvananthapuram, you know we are tucked right behind the Secretariat. It’s a very central part of the city, so there’s always something happening right outside our windows. Being on the first floor gives us a bit of a view of the street traffic down at the junction. We get a lot of office workers during the day, especially since the government buildings are so close by. People usually come in for a quick lunch break before heading back to their desks. The space isn’t huge, but we’ve arranged the tables to make the most of it. It’s a practical setup for the city crowd. We’ve been at this location for a while, and the routine hasn't changed much. We start early to get everything ready for the noon crowd. The junction gets pretty jammed up with cars and bikes, but once people climb the stairs to the restaurant, it’s a bit of a break from the noise. We don't bother with fancy decor or anything like that; we just focus on the daily tasks of running a kitchen. It’s a straightforward business in a busy part of town. Most of our customers are people who are just passing through the junction or working nearby. It’s just a normal spot for a meal while you’re out in the city doing your business.
