Achayans Kitchen

You can find Achayans Kitchen right on Kochar Road in Sasthamangalam. We are sitting directly opposite the Kerala State Textile Corporation building, so that’s usually how people find us. Thiruvananthapuram is a city that loves its food, and we’ve been part of the local scene here for a while. It’s a straightforward kitchen. We don’t have fancy decorations or anything like that, we just focus on the cooking. The morning starts early here with prep work and getting things ready. Sasthamangalam is a nice area, quite busy during the day with people going to work. We get a lot of locals who just want a decent meal without any fuss. The space isn’t huge, but we make it work for the daily rush. Sometimes the kitchen gets really hot, especially in the afternoons, but we’re used to it. We just put out the food and hope people like it. There’s no big secret to what we do. It’s just daily work, making sure the ingredients are okay and the pots are clean.
